The article presents an alternative to use the mediatic experience’s conceptual framework, elaborated from the articulation between media ecology, cultural forms, peircean semiotics and mediatization. In such framework it is argued that observing traces of previous/ancestor technologies in the next ones can both guide the experience to be materialized regardless of the content distribution platform, as well as presenting clues for the production of meaning, minimizing the risk of an experience standardization. The article addresses specifically alternatives for the production of meaning in the case of experiences related to television contents independently of a television set.
