The manifestations of 2013: Domestic review, The sound around and The Mouse Fever

To get to the recent political cinema made in Brazil, we go through the June demonstrations and their unfoldings. We present the relationship between subjective processes and manifestations, highlighting the notion of an event to think about the crises that exist between subjective processes and modes of production. In a second moment, we return to three films made in Pernambuco, Doméstica (2012), by Gabriel Mascaro, O Som ao Redor (2013) by Kleber Mendonça and Febre do Rato (2012) by Cláudio Assis, all of them crossed by a desire to reflect on the community. With the marks of the demonstrations, we put new questions to the representations and devices of the works.Downloads
