Abstract

This article explores the intriguing phenomenon of the creation of a unique dialect by Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems at the holding company Facebook Inc. in the light of communication theories. Using a qualitative approach and the case study method, the research investigates the complexities and implications of this change in the way we communicate and create narratives. The study reveals that the dialect developed by AIs invites a revisit to traditional conceptions of language and communication, introducing a new dimension to the academic discussion on AI and linguistics. The article concludes that the possibility of variations in communication with AIs raises critical questions about their impact on human language, the construction of narratives and even people's perception of the world.
