Talking to an API: an exploratory study on social TV from the relationship between twitter and television programming
Keywords:
Social, Mineração de Dados, TwitterAbstract
It discusses the phenomenon of the use of social networks in parallel to TV consumption, constituting what some authors call "backchannel", a secondary space of the production of content and discussion about the programs that are being watched in a synchronous way to their emission , forming what we propose to call here as the cloud of meaning. Data mining techniques are explored through the custom tool Social Tracker, developed in the Python programming language, to collect data about the problem, considering that due to the large amount of information generated in this environment, it is increasingly difficult to do this manually.Downloads
