The editorial team of GEMInIS Magazine, a publication of the Group of Studies on Interactive Media in Image and Sound - PPGIS / UFSCar, has the honor, pleasure and satisfaction of presenting its third edition to the academic community and the general public. This issue brings novelties: the thematic discussions were subdivided by areas of affinities that include in addition to the dossier itself, cross-platform approaches and convergent space sections. The dossier of this edition is devoted to the exploration of a subject directly related to the future of audiovisual entertainment: Transmedia: strategies and processes of building worlds. This is an important discussion both in the context of the new arrangements of the digital economy and for a better understanding of the new 'twinned' business models in the multiplatforms of contemporary audiovisual production.Downloads
