Video and Text on the Web: from the convergence of languages to new relationships in the news narrative
Keywords:
webjornalismo, televisão, texto, linguagem, leituraAbstract
This article shows how television in the digital age faces the challenge of media convergence. On the internet, the language of TV is not solved, having text and video editing as support for a new language. The video, in the same size and format displayed on television, is practically neglected by the Internet user and ends up being accessed as a search on own rails instead of being informative material for the user. To demonstrate how this information reading feature on the internet creates a new relationship between text and videos on the Internet will be analyzed three reports from the Globo G1 website. The inclusion of unedited videos, different from the stories published in the news programs, generated more access, indicating the characteristics of the user and what is sought in terms of videos on the Internet, that is, a narrative and a language constructed not only by the vehicle of communication , but also from the interaction with Internet users and the breaking of old paradigms about ways of reporting a fact.Downloads
