Interactivity in Open Digital TV: preliminary studies in São Paulo / SP
Keywords:
Open Digital TV, Transmídia, Digital channelsAbstract
The purpose of this article is to characterize and describe, in a preliminary way, the current stage of the digitalisation of television channels, as well as the interactive resources currently available on Brazilian Open Digital TV. Two environments are chosen for testing: the USP Digital TV laboratory and a residence, both in the city of São Paulo. The study presents data on the levels of interactivity available and the criteria used by each broadcaster to create these contents. The information collected indicates trends in the use of transmission strategies in these contents, even if still timid.Downloads
