THE CASE OF THE PORTUGUESE PORTAL OBSERVADOR

Abstract

The results presented in this work are based on a case study that explores how the Portuguese news portal Observador makes use of WhatsApp for distribution of journalistic content. The technique of the week built is used to analyze a set of newsletters referring to the month of September 2019 to verify which themes are most explored by the portal's newsroom in the distribution by WhatsApp and the data presented is completed with an interview with the person responsible for the Observador's social networks.
