Abstract

It is with pride that the editorial team of GEMInIS Journal presents another new edition to the academic community and the general public. In this issue, we bring a selection of articles presented during the III GEMInIS International Conference (JIG 2018): Multiplatform Transmedia Entertainment, held between August 28 and 30, 2018. These works are dedicated to understanding different dynamics of the contemporary audiovisual field, focusing on topics such as production and consumption strategies on video-on-demand platforms, as well as other content distribution initiatives through the internet, multi-platform journalism, market and innovation in the field of communication, television in convergence with social networks , among other subjects.
