When History Turns to Entertainment

The text wants to show us some considerations about the re-readings of the media, proposed by miniseries of epoch showed by “Rede Globo”. Based in an observation of these media phenomenon, we want to reflect about the relation between media, entertainment and mediatization of the historic narration in the miniseries. Authors such as Lopes will be essential to understand the mechanism of the fiction series, while Martín-Barbero will help us to think about the connections between the entertainment show and the history of the country, brought to be discussed in the contemporary society through the miniseries.Downloads
