Keywords:
audiovisual, hypermedia, narrative, new media, interactive TVAbstract
This paper builds a brief overview of the narrative construction in audiovisual products since the advent and popularization of digital technologies to the consolidation of hypermedia. The main trends are: a) transcinemas, b) complex narratives, c) transmedia storytelling, d) computer games, and e) cyberfilms. Finally, we emphasize that the lack of regulatory and market interests of media companies in relation to the deployment of interactive digital TV in Brazil, prevents the development of audiovisual products for interactive TV, and consequently new aesthetic experiences to the public.Downloads
