The book The Palgrave Handbook of Audiovisual Translation and Media Accessibility, edited by professors Łukasz Bogucki and Mikołaj Deckert, and published by Palgrave Mcmillan (BOGUCKI; DECKERT, 2020) presents a collection of articles written by experts in audiovisual translation and media accessibility, seeking to update discussions on the field and indicate new possibilities of research topics in contemporary times. This book review aims to present the handbook, in general, to readers and researchers of audiovisual translation and media accessibility in Brazil, as well as discuss the relevance of the publication for the discipline.
