Historical, dramatic, apocalyptic, the year 2020, among other reframes, highlighted the close relationship between Communication and Health. Living under the omnipresent health catastrophe, connecting our most intimate fears to international geopolitical issues, our exchanges, research, indignations and uncertainties were shared by reinvented forms of communication. As we see in this dossier “Communication Networks and Narratives in Health”, the situation highlighted the overlapping of the two fields, both with a holistic vocation and, therefore, finding themselves, in different ways, in efforts of complexification that seek to rise to the challenges of the time. The set of received texts even required publication in two parts, being second for the next issue of the journal.
