Abstract

The smartphone’s last generation high computational processing power and the easiness of the process of new mobile applicative’s creation (no matter if they are official or not) is creating a new sharing ecosystem of art, information and cultural content, that is provided by the usability of new interfaces. It’s necessary to describe movements like the iPhone jailbreaking, a hacking procedure that allows third-party software to be installed into the device. The spread of copyleft and other new philosophies like Copyleft are also present in the mobile world. The jailbreaking phenomenon and the mobile art movement are both samples of the prosumer culture, in which the consumer transforms itself in a producer and modifier of his products.
