MULTIPLATFORM CHARACTER CREATION AND DEVELOPMENT
Keywords:
Character, Multiplatform, Character Driven, Character Design, TransmediaAbstract
The theoretical complexities and difficulties, analytical and creative criticisms pertaining to the processes of character creation and development, have been the subject of interdisciplinary studies, but these questions are inexhaustible. Currently, new challenges are presented to the writers about the concept of multi-platform character building. It is intended, therefore, to explore interdisciplinary approaches associated with this issue, taking into account the serial narrative form, the notion of environment, character design and character driven stories. Thus, the objective is to discuss procedures and dynamics related to the creation and development of characters, which gain particularities and even more complex contours in multiplatform transmedia contexts
