Abstract

In research conducted with young people aged 14 to 23, students of the public school system and linked to the Hip Hop movement, it is noticed that the content offered on the Internet works as an alternative to the traditional education to which these young people have access in the classroom . The content of The Get Down series brings to these young people information that goes beyond what is seen within the conventional classroom environment, in addition to arousing curiosity about unilateral issues within the classroom environment outside of the curriculum established by the government, taking into account the knowledge acquired in the life of the individual.

Juarez Tadeu de Paula Xavier, UNESP

Doutorado pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Integração da América Latina da Universidade de São Paulo - PROLAM/USP (2004), com ênfase em Comunicação e Cultura. Pesquisador do Centro de Estudos Latino Americano sobre Cultura e Comunicação da Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de S. Paulo (Celacc/ECA/USP); professor da Universidade Estadual Paulista na Faculdade de Arquitetura, Artes e Comunicação (Unesp/Faac); coordenador executivo do Núcleo Negro Unesp para a Pesquisa e Extensão (NUPE).

Carolina Bataier, UNESP

Graduada em Comunicação Social com Habilitação em Jornalismo, é aluna regular do Programa de Pós Graduação em Mídia e Tecnologia na Unesp (Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho) e membro do grupo de estudos e pesquisa em Economia Criativa NeoCriativa. Profissionalmente, atuou em jornal impresso diário, telejornal e desenvolve o projeto Interior Cultural, de divulgação cultural no interior de São Paulo.

Meiriane Jordão da Silva, UNESP

Graduação em História pela Universidade do Sagrado Coração (2012). Tem experiência na área de História, com ênfase em História.Especialista em Antropologia Cultural pela Universidade do Sagrado Coração (2016),atualmente aluna mestrando no programa Mídia e Tecnologia, FAAC, Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP(2017), pesquisadora em Economia Criativa no Núcleo de Pesquisa e Observação em Economia Criativa, NeoCriativa (UNESP)(2017)
