Diegese, Magic Circle and the Aesthetic Categories in the Diablo's Transworld
Keywords:
Narrativas Transmídia, Círculo mágico, Imersão, Agência, EstéticaAbstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze the strategy of transmissive narrative used by Blizzard Entertainment to explore the fictional universe of the Diablo computer franchise, trying to understand how the aesthetic categories were summoned and how these can be considered metaphors for understanding the user experience of transmedia narratives whose central axis is a digital game. Thus, we aim to discuss how the notions of magic circle, agency, immersion and transformation can be read as metaphors from the consumption of transmidious narratives.Downloads
