Based on extensive empirical research, this article aims to provide a historical overview of wedding videos produced in Brazil. After almost one hundred years since the first records of moving image of wedding in the country, it is possible to identify transformations and continuities in this type of production, resulting from social and technological changes. It is argued, through the imagery analysis of the brid processions, that, over the years, these productions go beyond the mere record of the event, to also reproduce more organic narratives, focusing on the sensations and emotions experienced by those present at the ceremony.
