The new speech of interactive non-fiction and its application for mobile devices. The case of the interactive multimedia documentary

This article presents a first analysis along the lines of convergence between the fields of audiovisual documentary and interactive multimedia network documentary. It argues a proposed definition the new emerging genre, called “interactive multimedia documentary,” in contrast with the logic of creation and production of linear documentaries. It also provides a taxonomy of the main features of the new genre and finally suggests its possible application in the field of mobile devices.Downloads
