Kisses and hugs by whatsapp in the local telejornalismo: analysis of the Record of Campo Grande

This work analyzes the content of the interactions between the viewer and the presenter through WhatsApp in the MS Record news network, an affiliate of the Campo Grande Record Network in Mato Grosso do Sul. It was observed that besides classified issues within the police, among others, there are those considered non-journalistic in the process of interaction. They are asked for kisses and hugs that the viewers make to the presenter so that she demonstrates her affectivity live. From this aspect, the research also analyzes the figure of the presenter in an idol-fan relationship with her audience, inserted in the context of the culture of participation (JENKINS, 2008). This shows that the affiliate broadcaster has exploited the capabilities made possible by digital technologies. However, the journalistic genre, in this way, has lost part of its identity.Downloads
