Abstract

American TV shows can be watched from anywhere as they are streamed or downloaded over the internet hours later. Spectators do this by using different tools and social networks, discussing what they saw. In Brazil, it is no different, but this global market does not seem so inclusive. Some programs have paratexts that foreign fans can not reach. Feeling that they are losing part of the story, Brazilian fans try to create new ways of interacting with these universes and with other fans. This work tries to show how Brazilian spectators interact with transmydial products and among them in a global consumption, with local elements.
